The National Commission for Certification of CME Professionals (NC-CME) has awarded the designation of Certified CME Professional (CCMEP™) to the individuals listed below. The CCMEP is the only credential that designates qualified individuals as certified CME professionals.

The National Registry is updated following each testing period: March 13-31, June 13-30, September 13-30 and December 1-31. Individuals who allow their CCMEP credential to lapse will not be listed in the National Registry and will no longer be permitted to use or display the CCMEP designation.

To find a specific individual:  Press CONTROL and the F key at the same time; then type the individual's last name in the "find" box at the top of your screen.

The initial CCMEP credential is valid for 3 years and may be extended for 2 additional years with documentation of 12 points of continuous professional development (CPD) activities. Individuals who have obtained an Extension of Certification (EOC) are listed under the date of their initial certification: e.g., Alex Andrea, CCMEP, Class of June 2008 would be listed under “Class of June 2008-EOC”.

Thereafter, CCMEPs must maintain a record of their own personal CPD activities and apply for Recertification every 3 years. Candidates for Recertification will have two options*:
* Option 1. Participate in a Portfolio project that documents continuous personal development;

* Option 2. Document 10 points of CPD activities since the last certification and pass the current Form of the CCMEP Exam.
